those were the days
it was those days of aristal i missed.today's costume was a sweet memory
of the past sweetlings.
today was a LONG day. xD haha. in the morning went to get matt's bass guitar that was funkin' heavy.heh.it's about twice the weight of an electric.he's guitar was really nice, had this white glossy colour, if only i can find a glossy black electric ^^.
mr eng was being mean.haha coz i was caught singing and playin the guitar, he nearly was about to invite me to perform in front of the class?! wth no thanks! haha. then coz during lessons i couldn't play the guitar, so i played the air.then i tried drums and got caught again.wth.hahaa mr eng is damn observant. xD
after lunch, practised "doing that thing you do" with shujun, then we had to go for dance performance for cca best practice, for the j1s and j2s. ^^ haha.i have no comments on the look of some of their faces.heh.and liyana's rubberband snapped 10sec b4 performance!. xP thank God avril had extra. after the first performance, was quite bored so i started to play stanley's accoustic guitar. then stanley played like his own genres of the guitar, damn cool.liek he played "wake me up when september ends","bouvelyard of broken dreams", "when you say nothing at all", "collide","kiss me" and lots more. i'm sitll in the midst of learning wake me up when september ends, must try figure chords.^^
after dance performace, we still had to attend phsyics. :( bleahs.haha.after school, went to collect chris' electric guitar coz shujun had to go pft. another coffin to carry! haha.went to class, only eugene was there,so went to look for shanti to tune the guitars, ahaha coz i'm not good in tuning, so we went to 05 to find erusha, but he din noe, haha so we went to 02 to find andy to tune the bass. saw chuyun, and lava who was arm wrestling with andy.haha then andy started to sing cookie monster sound."C is for cookie,it's good enough for me..." haha we also asked him to immitate elmo."hi i'm elmo!welcome to elmo's world."then we managed to get him to help us tune the bass and electric, which was later found out from jeremy it wasn't exactly tune properly.lol, so there was a 2nd retune.haha.woho! i learn new chords for "Tell the World" on bass! haha if only i have a bass to practice.heh.haha. i beat chuyun for arm wrestling, who beat andy.HAHAHA.
so like from 06,we move to 02,then 04, and then back to 06. practice a few times, b4 going to change out.went to call liyana and guess what the first word i heard was "ni hao!" hahaha WTH. xD then went to lt1 for auditions, stanley group went first, damn nice their band! xD then it was us. i think we should check on our sound system next time. xD haha coz the electric was softer than the base,that was rather distorted,and the mike.haha i din noe my mike was damn loud.haha until the first song we did, i was even louder than liyana's drums.lol.thank God liyana played hardcore in the 2nd song.but oh well, we did screw up bits here and there, i guess we put in our effort and it was alright.finshed and done.waha.haha.dun need to feel nervous anymore.^^ but i'm so glad God did see us through. :)
took a group pic, shall go pester shujun for it.heh.xD after audition went for dance.i need to do a proper cart wheel.lol. then after dance we watched 2 videos on this really cool jazz hiphop contemp stuff. great breakdancers. xD
